Every fee published, including home visits, hydrotherapy, classes and technology add-ons — so you know what a visit costs before you book it.
Your first appointment is 60 minutes. Follow-ups run 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on what your condition needs — your clinician will tell you which, and why.
The table above is the full fee. Most people pay less than that — here is how, fund by fund.
We claim on the spot through HICAPS for physiotherapy, exercise physiology and remedial massage, so your rebate comes off the invoice immediately and you only pay the gap.
Clinical classes are individually prescribed and supervised by an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist or ESSA-accredited exercise physiologist, so they may be claimable depending on your level of cover — and the class must be run by a clinician whose profession your policy includes. If your extras cover physiotherapy only, the class has to be physiotherapist-led.
Not sure? We can run a quote through the HICAPS terminal before your appointment so you see the rebate and the gap before treatment starts.
Following the Australian Government’s private health insurance reform in April 2019, Pilates-based services are no longer eligible for private health rebates — even when a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist delivers them. That includes our studio and hybrid Pilates classes, and it applies to every clinic in the country, not just ours.
Strength & Conditioning, Fit Over 50, and Balance, Bones & Strength may be claimable once you have completed an initial assessment and the classes are prescribed as part of your treatment plan.
To claim under Medicare you need a GPCCMP from your GP. Your condition must be chronic — present for six months or longer, as determined by your doctor. A plan typically allows up to five allied health sessions per calendar year.
We do not bulk bill. You pay the appointment fee in full on the day by EFTPOS, and the Medicare rebate is returned directly to your bank account, electronically or via HICAPS.
Our appointments and some classes can be covered by DVA. Bring the referral from your GP and we handle the billing.
For us to bill WorkCover directly you need an approved claim number and a current medical certificate from your GP. Call us and we will talk you through it — this applies to both physiotherapy and exercise physiology.
You need a claim number from your insurer before we can bill them. If you are still waiting for one, you are welcome to pay privately in the meantime — those sessions are typically reimbursed once the claim is approved.
We work with plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants, and with Home Care Package and CHSP funding through My Aged Care — in the clinic or as a home visit.
Private health rebates vary between funds and individual policies. If you are unsure what you are entitled to, check your level of cover with your insurer — or ask us for a HICAPS quote first.
Book your assessment at Forge West End and start a plan built around your goals — not a generic exercise sheet.
