Marcin Lisewski Forge West End

MARCIN LISEWSKI

Director & Principal Physiotherapist

Marcin has over 20 years of physiotherapy experience across Europe and Australia and is the Director of Forge West End and Vitalis Physiotherapy in Brisbane.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Medical University of Gdańsk in Poland in 2005, Marcin began his healthcare career in Australia in 2008, completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian Institute of Applied Science. To practise as a physiotherapist in Australia, he subsequently completed an additional Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame Australia in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Throughout his career, Marcin has worked across a variety of private practice and musculoskeletal settings, progressing from junior clinician to University Clinical Educator, Practice Manager, and business owner. His extensive clinical experience has allowed him to develop a unique and highly effective approach to assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.

Marcin specialises in the treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions, persistent pain, sports and gym-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and return-to-sport programs. He is also highly sought after for second-opinion consultations, helping patients who have not achieved lasting results with previous treatment.

In 2018, Marcin founded Vitalis Physiotherapy with a vision of delivering structured, evidence-based care focused on achieving long-term outcomes rather than short-term symptom relief. In 2024, he expanded this vision through Forge, creating a modern rehabilitation facility that combines expert clinical care, advanced technology, and performance-based rehabilitation.

A significant milestone in Marcin’s professional development came in 2022 when he completed the prestigious ProSport Academy, an intensive 15-month mentorship program led by David O’Sullivan, former physiotherapist for England Rugby Union, England Rugby League, and multiple Rugby World Cup campaigns. This training transformed Marcin’s clinical approach and reinforced his belief in a systematic “Step-by-Step” rehabilitation model that identifies the true source of dysfunction and guides patients through a clear pathway to recovery.

Known for his structured and methodical approach, Marcin combines hands-on physiotherapy, targeted exercise rehabilitation, and state-of-the-art technology to help patients move better, recover faster, and return to the activities they enjoy. He incorporates advanced assessment and treatment tools including Shockwave Therapy, Neubie Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation, TECAR Therapy, performance testing, and movement analysis technologies to provide precise and effective treatment plans.

Marcin is passionate about empowering patients through education and believes that understanding the “why” behind pain and injury is essential for achieving lasting results. His goal is not only to help patients recover but to build stronger, more resilient bodies that can perform at their best for years to come.
