Neubie Therapy in West End, Brisbane

Direct current therapy that wakes up muscles the nervous system has switched off — for surgery recovery, neurological conditions, chronic pain and performance.

Neubie (Neuro-Bio-Electric Stimulation) is a specialised direct current therapy that works with your nervous system to restore proper muscle function. Where most treatment addresses the muscle, Neubie addresses the communication between brain and body — which is often what is actually limiting you.

Why that difference matters

After an injury or an operation the nervous system frequently keeps a muscle switched down long after the tissue has healed. You can load that muscle all you like; if the signal is not getting through, it will not respond. Neubie helps re-establish the signal, so the strength work that follows actually lands.

  • Activates underperforming muscle
  • Improves movement control
  • Reduces pain during movement
  • Re-trains the brain–body connection
  • Accelerates rehabilitation

Where you can get it

Neubie therapy (NeuFit ANZ) is currently available at Forge West End and our sister clinic, Vitalis Physiotherapy in Sinnamon Park — so access to it in Brisbane is genuinely limited. Your physiotherapist will assess whether it suits your condition and goals; it is included in your consultation at no additional charge.

Who it helps

Four groups we use it with most

Neubie is effective across musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions alike.

Neurological conditions

Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, post-stroke weakness, functional neurological disorder, and nerve-related weakness or altered sensation.

Musculoskeletal dysfunction

Chronic low back pain, sciatica and nerve pain, neck pain and cervical radiculopathy, shoulder and rotator cuff problems, knee pain including ACL rehab, and Achilles, patellar or gluteal tendon injuries.

After surgery

Shoulder surgery, total knee and hip replacement, and ACL reconstruction — where getting a switched-off muscle working again is most of the job.

Athletes and performance

Returning from injury, sprinting and explosive work, strength and conditioning support, improving muscle recruitment and symmetry, and reducing compensation patterns.

At Forge we pair Neubie with performance testing and strength training, so the change is measured rather than assumed — you see what came back and by how much.

That combination is the point. Neubie opens a window in which a muscle will respond; loading it properly in that window is what makes the change stick. On its own it is a good session. Alongside physiotherapy and structured clinical classes, it is a rehabilitation plan.
