Pilates

Boutique Pilates in West End, Brisbane

Reformer, Studio and Clinical Pilates in classes of no more than six — where rehabilitation and performance meet.

Pilates is a low-impact method for building strength, flexibility and posture through controlled movement, core work and breathing. At Forge West End we run three kinds — Reformer, Clinical and Studio — and the difference between them is not difficulty, it is purpose.

Which one is which

  • Reformer Pilates — equipment-based classes across five styles and every level, capped at six. Not claimable on private health.
  • Studio Pilates — the original apparatus-based method: highly personalised, precise, controlled. Runs within our performance classes.
  • Clinical Pilates — Pilates principles inside a prescribed rehabilitation program. That is what our clinical classes are, capped at four and generally claimable.

Who teaches

Qualified Pilates instructors, and for the clinical work physiotherapists and exercise physiologists. That mix is the point: the same studio can take you from rehabilitation after an injury through to training for performance without handing you between businesses.

New to Forge

Ten days of unlimited classes for $51

Before you commit to a pack or a membership somewhere else, train with us for ten consecutive days. Reformer Pilates, Studio Pilates, Strength & Conditioning, Stretch & Trigger and Fit Over 50 — all included, in a studio where the biggest class is six people.

Clinical Classes are not part of the trial — they run 4:1 with a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist and need an assessment first.
