Reformer Classes at FORGE

Forge runs 40+ Classes a week, which include multiple class styles that are suitable for all levels. In no time, you’ll develop a favorite class and healthy workout routine! You’ll fall in love with our beautiful studio and industry leading equipment. The Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformer is what you will be working out on. It is easy to use, safe and includes a moveable footbar, which introduces a greater variety of exercises. (This feature is not available on any other reformer in the industry).

We don’t have any prerequisite requirements for our reformer classes as our small class setting (max 6 people) enables us to give our new clients the attention and support required. However, we offer an ultra sound service to check your deep core engagement. To visually see your core activation on screen really helps to learn a feeling that is sometimes hard to grasp – we highly recommend this if you’re new to Pilates.

All classes are taken by comprehensively trained Pilates Instructors with the exception of the Mums and Bubs class. This is taken by a Physiotherapist and requires an initial consultation if you’re a new client to Forge.

Stretch & Trigger

Enjoy our relaxing stretch and trigger class where the instructors take you through a variety of different stretches, teach you how to self mobilise and trigger your muscles and joints and use a variety of different equipment such as the arc barrel, back balls, foam rollers and reformers to achieve longer and taller postures.

Beginner Reformer

This ‘Beginner Reformer’ class is the perfect place to start. Our comprehensively trained Pilates instructors will guide you through a 1hour workout that will work through the Pilates basics as well as teaching you about the equipment. With a maximum of 6 in a class, this small setting ensures every client has a lot of individualised attention. Don’t be shy, we don’t bite and the reformer definitely doesn’t! Book Now!

Intermediate Reformer

A slightly faster pace with more complex movement patterns will mean your body and mind will be challenged in a safe and supportive environment. While this intermediate class is a step up from our Beginner Reformer class, you certainly don’t require a lot of Pilates experience to attend. Our small class setting (max 6 per class) and tailored approach to Pilates means our instructors are able to keep a close eye on your technique and form, making any adjustments as necessary. Jumpboard Reformer

The jumpboard is a padded board that replaces the reformers footbar providing and excellent, low impact way of increasing your heart rate. If you have never taken a jumpboard class before, your legs are missing out! With multiple different ways to jump with not only your feet pushing off the jumpboard (you’ll use your arms too), this class is fun, challenging and will make you strong and long! Book Now!

Mums and Bubs

Our Mums and Bubs class is the perfect form of exercise to help your body recover after pregnancy and child birth. This class is on our reformers and allows for you to bring your new bub along to the class. That’s right, you can still get a workout in without worrying about a babysitter! Run by one of our physiotherapists, you’re in incredibly safe hands to build strength and improve fitness, safely. Please note: this class requires and initial consultation with one of our physiotherapists if you’re new to our studio.
