REMEDIAL MASSAGE

Our clinic offers on spot claiming with HICAPS for almost all of our Allied Health Services including Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Remedial Massage. Our clinical classes are taken by our AHPRA and ESSA registered clinicians meaning you are able to claim classes run by these therapists, as they are individual to you and your injury/condition. See our Timetable for more information.

Since the Private Health Insurance Reform in April 2019, Pilates classes and consults even if taken by Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists cannot be claimed. This includes our Reformer Pilates and Studio Pilates Classes. However, Our Strength & Conditioning, Stretch and Trigger, Fit Over 50, Mums and Bubs Classes are claimable after an Initial Appointment is conducted. In order to claim you need to make sure you are covered for that service. Eg if you are only covered for Physiotherapy you must complete classes with a Physiotherapist.

We offer quotes through our HICAPS terminal so if you are unsure of what you are covered for, you can see exactly how much you will get back for your consultation.

To claim under Medicare, you will need a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP). Your condition must be chronic, meaning it has been present for six months or longer, as determined by your GP.

A GPCCMP allows eligible patients to access Medicare rebates for allied health services, typically up to five sessions per calendar year.

We do not offer bulk billing. Your appointment fee is paid in full at the time of your visit via EFTPOS, and the Medicare rebate is processed and returned directly to your bank account, either electronically or via HICAPS.

Our appointments and some classes can be covered by DVA. To claim under DVA, please bring your referral from your GP.

For us to directly bill WorkCover you must bring an approved WorkCover claim number and a current medical certificate from your GP. Please contact our friendly team to find out more.

You must have a claim number to claim under insurance. Please contact your insurance provider to receive a claim number. You are welcome to pay privately while you wait for your claim number (these sessions are typically reimbursed).
